Jo Eaves Yoga Classes

Hatha Yoga Class - Intermediate level
Tuesday evenings 7.30-8.45pm - In person classes - 10 people maximum class size. Session also available on zoom (must complete a health questionnaire and either have practised with me before or attend at least one in person class as drop-in prior to joining).
Yoga gives us a whole range of 'tools' to help us on a physical, mental and emotional level. My classes encourage an exploration of Asana (body postures) and Pranayama (breathing techniques) coupled with with guided relaxation, Yoga Nidra or meditation - a complete workout but without strain.
Classes are inspired by different themes such as; 'balancing body and breath' or 'connecting with the earth and sky' or 'exploring backbends'.
Spring naturally makes us think of new beginnings. It's a time to find ways of keeping a postive contented frame of mind and for looking forward to the lighter days. If you've nurtured a resolve over the winter - you might find that your yoga practice will help you to realise these dreams. There'll be plenty of lively asana to keep us warm and pranayama to keep a healthy store of energy. No extremes though!
